Privacy policy

Plain language, because trust matters. This explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

Who we are

LeadTaker ("we", "us") provides lead-capture services for businesses. When a visitor contacts one of our client businesses through a website contact form or an AI chatbot, LeadTaker captures that inquiry and delivers it to the business.

Information we collect

We collect the information a visitor chooses to provide when they reach out – typically their name, email address, phone number (if given), and the content of their message or chat. We also record basic technical details (such as IP address, browser type, and the page the request came from) to help prevent spam and abuse.

How we use it

  • To deliver the inquiry to the relevant business so they can respond.
  • To validate submissions and filter out spam.
  • To keep a secure backup copy so a lead is never lost in transit.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade leads or personal information. We do not use the contents of inquiries for advertising. Leads captured for a business belong to that business.

How it's stored and protected

Leads are delivered over an encrypted (TLS) connection and stored in a private location that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service.

Retention

We keep captured leads only as long as needed to deliver them and provide the service to the business, plus a reasonable backup window. Businesses may request deletion of their stored leads at any time.

Your choices

If you submitted an inquiry and would like it accessed, corrected, or deleted, email us at hello@leadtaker.com and we'll help. Note that the business you contacted also holds a copy of your message.
